Metro?  PAH!!!  Morris Marina with the roof cut off, that's what you want. Unfortunately after 2 weeks the insurance company refused to believe that it was OEM and insisted on inspecting the car. This spelled the end of project convertible Marina. We had plans to seal up the doors and convert it into a mobile Jacuzzi, using the engine to supply heated water. Shame really.

Lee you are welcome to drive the thing but I'm afraid I have no interest in that sc thing you put up with.

I will hold you to that ,you no you want a go in mine really ;-) lol

Sorry i forgot all about this. To be honest Lee you're a good sport as i said that to p*ss you off and get a reaction but you are better than that. That said i genuinely have no interest in driving a supercharged car as they bore me. I do believe you will find mine underpowered compared to yours but would love the feedback. I have enough trackdays in june and August so pick your day in July, please make it north of London  :poke:

Wow what a topic! Everyone knows a sc is the car to go for if you are serious about tracking. Read the forum and use the search you will find nothing good mentioned about a turbo on track

I fully agree NA SC is the best for the track, so much more adjustable and immediate. If I had to replace my stage 4 tubby I would be very seriously tempted by an NA SC, lovely cars. I disagree about 'nothing good mentioned about a tubby on track' whilst they are not as pure a driving experience they are still pretty good. If you look at this video of my car and the throttle trace, especially around 50 seconds to 1min 20. You will see that the car is very adjustable on the throttle mid bend at 1m10s as I vary the pedal input it to correct the slide. It's definitely not a case of the turbo being all or nothing.
