Be careful there is a brake line(?) near where you have to drill - I think you can feel it if you take the sill cover off

Yeah have a good search. As said, the biggest factor is finding a safe place to put the holes avoiding any pipes. I checked, rechecked and checked again before drilling mine as there are pipes behind there. There's loads of pictures on here of people putting the holes side by side. On mine I couldn't do this without fear of drilling through a pipe so I put them one above the other. Get them high enough so that they can easily route over the wheel arch liner. It's not an exact science. Hole size.. Can't remember. I just chose the right size hole drill bit for the size of the grommets I had. Which I got from courtenays I think which is also where I got the hoses from. Just go for it. Good luck.

I wrapped a cable tie around those pipes, then connected the conduit I used to pull the pipes through the sill to this cable tie with another cable tie and had a second set of hands to pull the conduit (gently) towards the back of the car to keep the pipes away from the area I was cutting holes in thumbsup

I had absolutely no problems with it and it was such a good fit it looked like it could've been oem - I took it on track too. If you are going stage 2 I'm not sure why you wouldn't go this route. Total cost was about £50 for mocal oil cooler and fittings. I guess a bit more science would be good and actually measure inlet temps against a proalloy car but my car made 260hp on CS rollers which was as high as I wanted to go.
