It's a good phone, bit big though (5.5" screen) but you would get used to that. My only issue is with LG and their software, they have been very bad in the past. Slow to release updates, when they do they are quite buggy etc.
I'm waiting on the Nexus 6. Built by LG, but using google software and should basically be a slightly upgraded version of the LG G3.

Got one. Love it but I have a question.
The calendar on my old phone was synced according to the settings to my hotmail account. I have set-up on my new phone to sync the calendar with hotmail easy enough but it syncs fcuk all.
Any ideas as I can't do anything with it and I can not be arsed to go through my old calendar and re-type it in.

Dunno. I don't use the Outlook/Hotmail calendar but maybe you need to use the Outlook app or set gmail up to pull your Outlook calendar (and probably contacts and email) through into your gmail account.

Don't get it. Add an event in my gmail via pc and it appears on my calendar on phone. Add an event on phone, refresh online calendar and fcuk all.

Are you refreshing the gmail or outlook calander? I can't think of any reason why you would get a one way sync....

I have an LG3. I like it. Better than the samsung's I used to have that kept breaking.
Nice high res screen, good-ish camera, sd card slot, removable battery, less bloatware that samsung insist on installing - what's not to like?

Goose, which Calender app are you using? You've got to make sure the Calender app has access to your Hotmail/Outlook.

Monsieur Verbose
Hope all is well in the land of holey cheese....
Well, I had the lg3 for about 6 months and like you thought it was awesome coming from a Samsung S3. Great screen etc although very soon realised the camera quality was absolute shite, the processing speed slowed to a snail and after deleting practically every app of my phone still was as slow as hell. I stuck with it for nearly 2 years as I was under contract but in the end I went back to an S6 and it is just fantastic by comparison.
In the end the LG would not charge anymore than 20% either.
Certainly for me was not as good as all the write ups at the time!

Hey GiGo - In the end i sorted it. I was stunned being behind the times that I am, wen I got my new phone that all I had to do was via an app touch the two phones together and everything was literally done in a few mins.
Hope all is well
