When I bought the car some twat damage the sill. Been repaired by the garage but yesterday I took the car for a spirited drive . Open the passenger door and this is what I found. if I push it it looks flexible but not broken yet. could it be just a gelcoat crack or does it need proper sorting . would you advise to drill at each end?

How did the garage repair the damaged cill???? it does not look like a gel coat crack to me but without looking at it physically its hard to tell fully.

Is that crack in the same place ? If so I guess the garage just ground the crack out and skimmed filler over it without any reinforcement inside

I assume they did a cheap job with no reinforcement. Is it worth me drilling at each end to stop it. Next question is : does anyone know about a good fiber specialist in south Derbyshire ? Alternative ly I would attempt the repair myself but not sure about the painting
