Probably time to pass the VX220 on to pastures new as it simply doesn't get used now I have the new job. Back to back Time Attack Championships in 2012 and 2013 plus second at the European Time Attack Masters at Zandvoort last year. The spec is well documented in my project thread and is possibly the best race spec VX in Europe. Huge folders of paperwork to support the build and offered with a new set of Toyo 888 tyres so ready to go. This is a devastating race car in the right hands; looking for £22,000 to the right buyer.

I understand, it's done an amazing job and needs to be driven.

Forgive my ignorance Mike, but I assume it is not road legal?  If so might be worth mentioning to stop people asking.

Good luck with the sale, shame to see you sell it after all the work you've put into it.

A good buy for someone  thumbsup

It does have an MOT but the horn is now disconnected and the handbrake lever is inoperative. It can however be MOT'd if the new owner so desired. It will also have a new windscreen fitted once a deposit is taken.

Worth every penny and more but £22K is strong money (maybe too strong for most on here), might be worth advertising on racecarsdirect thumbsup

I guess it is for a VX, however, if you ask me, it's way too cheap.

just adding up the cost of the parts added for last year add's up to a big chunk of that (getting on for £10K's worth) and that's before you think about the engine work, Harrop, fuel system, etc etc etc.

Have a go at the European Time Attack Masters for 2014, iirc its a Brands . I know Mark is thinking about the Night event in his, we think his will be really competitive in its class and free of the MSVT regs.

If the car is not sold I may do but I have made the decision to move the car on.

To build what I have would cost £32K. I know coz I priced it up.

Please re-read my post. I did not say it was overpriced, in fact I said it was underpriced. I did say that £22k is a lot of money (for any car) and in my experience there wouldn't be many on the forum with that sort of budget for a race car. I simply suggested that racecarsdirect is an excellent place to find buyers.
