Hello, guys, I am originally from Korea but studying in the Netherlands at the moment.   I have driven my red baby since this February. I am really lucky to have this unique and effing car.   The reason I registered for this nice website is to share and get info for the speedster and get along well with you guys :)

Also, Want to discuss some problems of my speedster( Lambda sensor after changing the cat back system )

Anyway..

Nice to meet you guys

Cheers

Welcome,

Lambda wiring can get brittle over time, and snap when removing to swap the cat.

You may also start looking for some mudguards that seem to be missing.

Thank you! Yes, Like you said, after swapping it and driving on the high way a few miles, the EIM popped up on my tachometer.

I need to change it :) can you recommend any good website which I can buy those stuff?

And you also live in the Netherlands! Nice to meet you !

You can find these at your preferred store once you know the numbers (these are NGK numbers only):

Front (precat) part number OZA531-GM6 Rear (postcat) part number OZA531-GM3

For example:

precat http://www.amazon.co...6/dp/B0096COXNS

postcat http://www.amazon.co...3/dp/B0096COWY8

If you would purchase oem's at your local speedster garage, they would charge you about 250 euro each.

Only above NGK's and the oem's have proven to be good.

In order not to purchase unneeded stuff, it will help you in the future to be able to read the codes the eml throws. (and reset if needed)

There are various devices for this, but a simple one that does not even require batteries is this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.u...em=281087741469

Read the code, and we will be able to tell you if you need to buy the pre or post cat lambda.

This is where the dutch and belgian speedsters hang out:

Thank you for the quick reply and consideration :)

the information that you gave will be very helpful!!

I only can read some Dutch words  when I join that speedster club.

I really want to join that club as well though..

Also do you have any squeaking sound from the steering  when you are driving?

I have no idea. it makes a lot of noisy sound when the weather is very warm.

I tried my best to take my car in for repairs in the several garages. They couldn't find the problem where the sound came.

Put this question in the general part, as not everybody visits the intro section.
