Having been in VX ownership for over 8 years, it is time for me to move on.

Basic info is:

- 2003 Europa blue
- Approx 59,000 miles
- 1 previous owner

I bought this car from Vix over 2 years ago and sold my original Europa blue 2.2. Vix had owned the car from new and had carried out almost all of the modifications to the car in the 9 years of his ownership. These include:

- Full Miltek exhaust system with race cat
- Intrax 1k2 suspension with black Titan upgrade
- Goodrich Braided brake hoses
- Eliseparts bells and rotors Discs front and rear
- Carbon Lorraine CL5+ pads front and rear
- ABS cut-off switch
- VXT front splitters and rear spoiler
- Spitfire Engineering enhanced rear tie rods and brace bar
- Jimsan rear diffuser additional spacers to clear brace bar and aid engine bay cooling
- Courtenay Sport Stage 2 Supercharger conversion
- Uprated alloy radiator, Low Temp thermostat and twin fans
- Courtenay Sport Enhanced charge-cooler
- Courtenay Sport Enhanced clutch
- Lightened flywheel
- Uprated Engine mount
- i-shift shift lights
- Revotec Boost Guage and Clock in Eliseparts Mount
- 12.9 hub bolts and Anti Rattle door pins
- Hangar 111 Reverie Exige type seats
- Harness Bar
- Scroth 5 point Harnesses (original seat belts retained)
- Scanguage II
- Scared stiff full suspension refresh in 2010 (powdercoated wishbones etc)

The car is curently on the standard NA wheels with very good Bridgestone tyres.

Also available with the car are two sets Team Dynamics wheels. One set in white with R888 tyres. One set in black with Yokohama tyres.

The car has covered less than 200 miles since its last MOT and service, which is the main reason for the sale. I bought the car to use mostly on trackdays, but in the two years of ownership I have done one track evening at Rockingham. It is time for someone else to make the most of this sorted VX Vix managed to create thumbsup

I have a pile of spares I have accumulated over the years, and got with the car from Vix which can be negotiated with the sale if wanted.

The price is £11500

I will upload some current pictures soon, but for now here are some older photos.

Oh my word. I always promised myself that if this car came on the market again I'd buy it!

Great car in the best colour (opinion of course). One of the original Crownhill Knob's with only two long-term forum members from new! Could it get any better?

Cheers guys :) its a hell of a car, which is why when I heard Steve was even considering selling I bought it before it went for sale ;)

I dont seem to be able to edit the original post (if an Admin could for me please?)

The mileage is actually around 59,000.

And the MOT and last service were carried out Feb 25th 2014. Less than 350 miles ago... :glare:

Don't worry, I had first refusal! I'm sorely tempted (I know what it all cost!) but can't justify a third car. :(

I've arranged to view the car as soon as Rob gets back from a business trip.  Can't wait.

I'm new to the world of VX220s but looking at the spec and the comments on this thread Rob's car appears to be a good 'un.  Am I right in saying stage 2 Supercharged VXs make for a very driveable car - good low down torque?  Is there a weight saving too with the 2.2 engine over the 2.0T?

VIX I understand you did the majority of the mods - how quick is a car with this type of spec?

Torque and responsiveness are the best bits comparing SC to turbo I think. It just drives like it has a bigger engine. Weight will probably be about the same I think the conversion adds a few kilos not sure how many but I'm sure a search here will confirm. Enjoy.

Turdo = 930 kilo, NA is 845.

SC adds 30 to 40 kilo (isch).
