I kmow this topic has been talked to death on here but I'm still unsure about something. Im intending to paint my calipers so obviously need to remove the wheels and have something sturdy to support the car while i do it. I intend to do one side at a time so i know i need to jack up at the central point to lift one side. But what im unsure about is where i should put the two axle stands to support it safely. I was after a pic to show where i can safely put it on the axle where it will take the weight. Or do you recommend somewhere else? Cheers Sam

Front point is the front of the metal sill, rear is the subframe tower which is the rear jacking point. Few pictures of this point on a very similar post i wrote about a year or 2 ago.

Just do one at a time, keep it on a decent hydraulic jack. The wheel doesn't touch the caliper, so having the wheel on or off while it dries makes no odds.
