I'm going to be over on the other coast at the same time Si. Heading to Puglia for a week from 7 October staying near Cisternino. Looking at car hire as well although will probably settle for a 500.
weird, we're going to Cisternino on 13 October...
Look out for me polishing the hire car Joss.

my Elise in sorrento, didnt move from here for 5 days needed a rest it was a fair drive there!

Hi Joss. We had a great time too with brilliant weather all week. Yep, ended up with a 500. Had to drive it straight back the next morning as it had a dodgy clutch. A massive argument then ensued with the hire company but eventually they changed it for another 500. Gutless things but frugal and served its purpose. Avoid a car hire company called Firefly. Customer service and attitude were appalling.I'm back now, it was lovely... Did you get a 500 in the end? We did and hated it!
