It's getting close to starting to build the front end of my car back up, which will include using adhesives to bond the following parts:
Windscreen frame (part 1) http://www.speedster...rame/index.html
Baffle panel (part 3) http://www.deroure.c...1&ST=A116B0195J
Footwell Air Dist (part 9) http://www.deroure.c...&SMO=0&ST=&SC=0
I'm still thinking about what adhesives to use. The air dist isn't a worry, this is rivited on an only needs a waterproof seal. I'll probably just use black silicone for that. However the windscreen frame, and perhaps the baffle as the frame bonds to that, are more of a worry.
The adhesive used from the factory seems to be slightly rubbery, perhaps partly silicone based, but is that strong enough for the windscreen frame considering it's supposed to be part of the cabin protection when the car turns over?
I could use tiger seal, but doesn't this dry rock hard? (I've never used it before)
Any thoughts welcome
