Not so much can't more not really supposed to. (with most companies at least) A lot refuse to take on the handling risk associated with some pressurised, corrosive, flammable etc items but at the end of the day what they don't know about won't concern them...

as above, problem is you will be agreeing that there is nothing dangerous in there. Royal mail won't allow it for sure (stored pressure container and also a dangerous powder inside)

 

I know parcel monkey and parcel to go also don't allow it. Not really sure who to send it via. To even transport them (and i mean transport not have in your car for personal use) you need a license and handling tickets. 

 

Maybe try Paisley freight? they are cheap too :)

You won't need a hazmat certificate to transport one extinguisher it will come under limited quantities so will not need to classified as dangerous goods. As above package it up in a box and don't tell them what's in it ;)

I could well be interest in one of these or is it something that mollie6 who makes the aftermarket gear knobs, indicator storks etc could knock up especially if he had one as a template just a thought?
