Begging thread!

My VXT is currently in a workshop in Teesside having just had a new clam fitted and unfortunately the lights aren't fitting correctly (the bottom of both is sticking out around 5mm) and the chap doing the repair has asked whether I know anyone with one of these cars so they can check whether the clam is the correct dimensions..  well I don't!

He is happy to travel (locally to Teesside) to view one to confirm a couple of things..would there be anyone on here fairly locally that would be ok doing a favour for someone they have never met? :)  If so, firstly I'd like to thank you greatly! and please PM me so I can arrange for this chap to make a visit.

Many thanks!

Nick

Hi Nick,

I don't mind travelling to Portrack, i'm in my car today and finish work around 3:30. Will the workshop be open? I'm guessing it's on Ross road

That would be fantastic of you (PM'd you), he did offer to travel though if you didn't mind him turning up at your work (unless you mean you're out and about working of course!)

Thank you!

Quite easy to tighten them again if you have a tiny spanner and the reason for the jiggle isn't that the connector has been pulled from the rear of the headlight casing by overtightening!  I have some sticky double sided foam tape if you're passing Dalton :D

Edit: OCD spelling nazi inside couldn't cope with my mistake.
