Hi Everyone,

FIrst time post here.

I'm off to look at this car on Saturday: http://www.pistonhea...mileage/2956057

Does anyone have any prior knowledge of this car, or advice for me? I have read the buyer's guide, but to be honest I'm not much cop with a spanner and aside from a basic test drive and a good look down the panels don't have a lot of mechanical knowledge.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Clive.

This was sold by turboluca on here to the current seller who's only had it a couple of months. Turboluca is a sound bloke. PM him for some background.

Meant to add that Turboluca doesn't sell rubbish, either!

Thanks for all the suggestions. Have already looked at one near Bristol recently for £5995 which I didn't go for. Will ask Turboluca as suggested!

I'd looked at this one too out of interest as I'm not taking the plunge yet... the number of owners put me off slightly; it's probably worth understanding a little bit more about that too.

Lots of owners not a problem on these - change hands frequently. I would check why this chap is only selling after a few months, though..

Yeah, I wouldn't be too concerned with owner numbers. These are bought with a certain experience in mind, and generally end up being not quite what they expected.
