Ok, the sad time has come to sell my vx, as much as I love it, I want a bike and I can't have both :(  so here goes.

WN52EZK

HPI clear

68500 miles though this will increase as its my daily drive

Full service history

Engine rebuilt approximately 20000 MLS ago by previous owner with receipt

MOT 26/7/15

TAX till April though I'm led to believe this is now non transferable

Already fitted to the car is a larini cat back exhaust, CDA filter and Fez mk2 heater. I do have the original back box and filter setup included with the sale though.

Also supplied are a full set of new grooved discs, which I never fitted because I wasn't going to fit them without new pads at the same time and the pads were not needed yet.

Comes with an early Johnnyboy hardtop, currently carbon wrapped, no idea on the color underneath as was like this when I bought the car and I liked it so left it on, though I've never used it till now as I like the roof off every available moment!

Also fitted are turbo splitters which are sprayed body colour

It does have the obvious age related marks and stonechips as it is my daily drive, not been able to keep it as a garage queen as I don't own a garage!!

Asking price £6150 though sensible offers are seriously considered

Test drives provided with proof of comprehensive insurance and asking price in my hand (I once got stung by a test drive going wrong years ago in a previous car so now I am very cautious)

Will add photos later tonight as just been called into work early.

Few more things about the car, good bits and bad bits.

I have made a custom box to hold a pair of 6x9's behind the seats, so you can now actually hear the stereo even at motorway speed with the roof off!

Stereo is pioneer iPod compatible so can be controlled from the facia rather than looking down at iPod!

Also I replaced the steering uj's just before the mot this year, many hours spent upside down in the footwell as you may well know!

Both side engine mounts done last year as well.

Tyres still have good tread, fronts changed last year, rears earlier this year, Bridgestone all round.

The bad bits :(

Drivers seat bolster had previous repair before I got it, not a great looking job to be honest but still it worked.

Couple of small cracks in fiberglass, one just under headlight, one at the leading edge of both rear arches, both about 2 or 3 inches, and one behind the rear window, will try to show these in pictures. They were all there when I bought the car 2 yrs ago, and have not gotten any worse in that time so shouldn't go any further. Have not repaired them as never bothered me and don't affect performance in any way.

Small section of lacquer (2p piece size)  pinged off 1 rear wheel when having tyres changed by a careless fitter, not the result of being kerbed.

Want anyone to be aware of this before coming to view and then finding out, don't want to waste anyone time or my own. (maybe I'm secretly trying to put you off as I don't really want to sell it)!! but as I said before I want a bike and the better half has told me we can't afford both :(

Are you looking for any particular bike? Been looking at VX220s for years but never got round to getting one because i could never choose between that and my bikes! Ive got a mint 98' Suzuki TL1000R with low miles and shock conversion done and uprated brakes etc and a 2008 Kawasaki Z750R with a custom Orange/Black paint job - both bikes are in absolute mint showroom condition. Give me a shout if your interested as im about ready to part with one of them for a VX......appreciate the honesty in the advert as well

Well I'm going to go and do my license after the vx has gone then choose from there, been considering something like a 600 fazer just to get used to it, but got my heart set on a ninja really once I've been riding for a while.

Sorry to see you are selling up mate. Won't be seeing your car around these parts much longer then. Good luck with your next venture though thumbsup.
