Have finally decided that a S/C Vx would suit me best after grabbing a couple of rides in S/c and turbo,

( thanks Stuwy and Greg).

 I'm looking for :

stage 2 S/C

HPI clear

any colour but red,

coilovers, ideally Quantum or Nitrons

16/17 wheels

ideally less than 50k miles, although not too important,

I'm in no rush, been without my trackcar for 6 months, if nothing comes up I like, I'll buy N/A and take it to Lee and Joe.

Cheers

Good to hear you've come to the right conclusion! Good luck finding the right car!

Cheers mate, don't be surprised if I buy a n/a and get it s/c, as I'm a fussy ****.

Buy an NA and do it yourself. You'll know what's been done with the car and save ££££ over paying a small premium on an already built SC. Plus you've limited your mallet by wanting a SC as you might see one every other month come up.

Agree with above. Unless you stumble across a cheap sc (unlikely) then it's probably better to get a decent n/a and do the sc. All the other bits you want can be picked up relatively cheaply via the forum or fleabay. Best of luck in your search :)

I'll keep searching, I've been going through the "for sale" threads, going back months and there has only been a handful of s/c .Like I said I haven't been on track since May so another couple of months in winter isn't the end of the world.

Budget depends on condition etc... and what coilovers, brakes, wheels etc.. I'm hard to please so I may end up going the N/A route and getting it s/c at a later date.
