well here I am got to go to work later today and thinking of taking the VX, only problem no heater at all, I removed it last year and haven't put a replacement in.
So should I or not 12c today but only 8c when I come back Christmas Eve, do I risk the car coming home on Christmas Eve?
Wise Idea Or Not?

I would just stick the Heater back in and if that is not practical, then any other warm way of getting to work!

Get some sort of portable 12v heater to plug into the cig lighter, just in case demisting becomes an issue

drove in VX this morning , roads very quiet / dry and weather is mild
just used the heated seat

Whats happened to you Nick, too much time in a nice warm cockpit!
Roof off, £10 lidl heated seat and a coat and go for it. Roofless driving in winter is the best.
