So if you can already buy cheap off road buggies that can also do 100mph on road, what's the attraction with this one?

I like it. Great toy but not sure how often you would use it unless you have thousands of acres.

Given the blurb, you'd like to think that stick some ordinary road wheels and tyres and it shouldn't be too shoddy as a road car.

Reading the interviews with the Ariel guys you get the impression that they are really rushing development - not sure that's a good thing.  Still really want one though.  If only they could make it with some level of weatherproofing I'd have it as my daily driver.

 

Of course it will never be as cool as a Local Motors Rally Fighter.
