Recently purchased a B207r

Attached File  oil_adaptor.jpg   74.86KB   17 downloads

To save me reinventing the wheel has anyone had any adaptors made for the B207r for easy fitment of the oil lines?

Attached File  plug.jpg   39.1KB   17 downloads

And similarly what has been used as a plug here?

Thanks,

Scott

Hitec Germany, but after a recent price raise it's now silly money.

Most use/modify the B207R one iirc.

Is there a pic of the other side or is it as simple as a plate with O-rings and hose fittings?

Pretty much. (i can get pixies if you want).

I bought it, but it was not used during my conversion, as it rubbed with the water hose.

Not sure how Hitec deals with that.
We used a modified B207R one on mine: (or something like that. Exmantaa knows the details)

Maybe it's time we start thinking about putting together a dyi conversion kit, with clear instructions, and minimal modification needed to the oem hosework etc.

These B207's will be done much more in the future me thinks.

- Plug for camshaft intake side (even though a Z22SE one can be used, some people would like to keep the old engine complete)

- Plug for camshaft exhaust side. - Plug for B207R turbo oil return. (can be bought of ebay, but as part of kitty would be nice) - Plug for internal timing sensor (even though a Z22SE one can be used, some people would like to keep the old engine complete) - Cover for ignition coilpack - Oilplate with connectors for oem hoses. (optional if people don't want to use the B207R stuff) - External ignition sensor bracket (option 1) - External ignition trigger ring (option 1)

- Internal ignition replacement trigger ring (option 2)

Did i miss anything?

No, but pm a user called "Vocky" on here.

He should be able to guide you on the right path for it.

I just turned a piece of alloy bar to a tight press fit for this, then just bash it in. I'd have thought this could be had from any local machine shop for 10-20 quid. I think the trigger wheel and oil cooler parts are the trickiest. I'd quite like to use the saab thermostatic valve for the oil but then use the VX cooler section. I cant wait for my new lathe and mill to arrive!

Smiley, do you still have this adapter plate?

Would be happy to buy one if possible.
