Hi, Last year mount an supercharger. Because it difficult to get it road legal in my country if I don't E85 convert it. I wonder if anyone has experience of driving on E85 on their SC speedster. If yes what do you recommend me modified before changing the settings in the ecu. BR Daniel.
A supercharger loves running on Ethanol (liquid intercooling), so by all means convert to E85 if that is available. For the ecu it's just some settings for the bigger injectors and re-learning the fuel, plus you can run lots of advance with it. (= Power)
Only problem; your fuel system (tank/pump/lines) must be E85 resistant... But if still stock with the hard plastic hoses, I don't think that there is much in a VX that will be attacked by it. Only if you changed to rubber fuel hoses, those must be changed to an E85 suitable type (SAE 30R10 version I think)
Other long term problem I can think of is maybe your steel fuel tank can corrode a bit due to possible dissolved water content of E85, but should be no issue.
Post a dyno graph when converted.

might need wideband lambda as standard one will be for petrol stoich.

"Lambda sensor" works with Lambda stochio (measures O2 etc), so no difference in that. Works fine with E85.
(Only a wideband sensor controller converts the stochio lambda signal to a 14.7 AFR readout on the dial, so we can understand the meaning)

What happens if you need to fill up on ron95 in an emergency, and the ecu has so much advance?
The knock retard logic wil protect the system?

Oh Yes!
Keep me posted on this Daniel.
I keep taking away the charger for every MOT.
It works OK but since I am a very lazy young man it would be nice with a smoother (maybe even legal) option.
