Does anyone know of any companies who can make / have made custom lightweight wheels for our cars?

I'm not talking chavved up split rim nonsense. I am looking into a strong, monoblock, lightweight track wheel with 5 spokes. If one exists.

More like these http://www.pyspeed.c...k-p/bc-rs45.htm

But for less dosh

Swap to Lotus hubs and discs and fit Lotus style forged wheels.

You could try one of the US billet wheel manufacturers in the US.  Being machined from billet you can get pretty much anything you want.

They'll all be $5,000 or more. Custom sized wheels cost a fortune and even more if you want billet wheels. Add shipping and VAT and you're paying through the nose for not massive weight savings overall. See what Sector111 have for the Lotus as they normally have some lightweight Jap forged wheels. Exige Cup 260 wheels are probably the cheapest viable option. That or O.Z. Ultraleggera's (or one of their other lightweight options) with maybe wobbly bolts and spacers to correct the offsets where necessary.

You might need to contact them for your own design.  Things have moved on A LOT since I was hot rodding.

Bargain price on these from Seriously Lotus. Plus the other forged options. Will need to factor in four new hubs and four new discs though.

I had my Turbo Dynamic 1.3 wheels machined to ET15 and supplied for £700 from RimStock if that's any help.

Image wheels have had issues with the inner barrel bending, so be wary and get a good warantee. Mind you, even one of my TD1.3 bent, so I suppose anything can, it's more about what you drive on and how aggressively.
