Hi there its Ash here

I always wanted a VX220 and now finally I have the chance to get one, so am now actively looking.

I have spotted this one available at around £9k. You can view it here:

http://www.jct9.com/...-surrey-4307749

Plate is VO52 URK

The dealer mentioned they purchased from a VX220 owners club member. So I wanted to see if I could find the previous owner here and get some feedback on the car, and if its a good buy or not.

I see quite a lot of N/A available that have done 60-90k miles. Should these be avoided, is there a milage where things generally start to go wrong, or is it just a case of checking if certain things have been replaced/fixed.

I also had another question, what would be the cost to respray the car? As ideally I wanted it in black.

Cheers

Ash

Hi Ash

It looks in good condition on the photos but 9K seems a little steep! for a 60K NA

The thing with buying a VX you normally have to travel to buy one! Good ones come up for sale on here quite often

thats just my opinion though!

good luck

Thanks for the info.

Yes I am more than willing to travel to get one - thats not a problem at all.

Hopefully one will come up here pretty soon!

Looking for a N/A, so anyone here who has one going please let me know.

Cheers

Price wise they are on the up at the moment so 9k could be a fair price. Respray upwards of 2k imo for a good job but maybe more given the colour change.

If you aren't concerned about a Cat D which could be as minor as clam damage, there is a low mileage Europa Blue for sale on here. Lovely colour.....but I would say that!

People that try to knock other peoples prices down, are usually the type that can not afford the asking price and are not in the market to purchase anyhow.
