I've had this a few months now, back then it was one big box of rattles... so most of my time has been spent working underneath and behind the bodywork to get a virtually rattle free solid feeling VXT...

Posted Image

...so why do I feel outwardly it just looks so much better, even though all I've done on the surface is paint the wheels and screen surround and polish it...

Posted Image

...anyway, I rolled it out of the garage today and thought, that is a fecking handsome car.

Posted Image

...can't wait to take some proper pictures when the sun comes back.

...oops, almost forgot I lowered it 10mm, changed all the light lenses and painted the engine and bonnet mesh gloss black...I guess that helped too :)

Lovely car, but I think that's Coral blue, Europa was a 2.2 colour.

If it's more purple it's def not Europa. This is my Europa and it's more blue-blue...

Maybe it's a custome job?

Thought that TL, thanks. Garage is locked up, but I'll post the paint code when I'm out there tomorrow, it's on the door jamb isn't it?

It looks good in the 2nd pic, sort of elongates the car at that angle

Mine's a 53 Tubby and is Europa blue. There were quite a small number of Europa Tubbies I'm told. Does look very deep in those pics and can have a slight purple tinge in the right light. If your paint code on the door sticker is 2KU, it's Europa.

Just to completely geek out, is your build number anything close to 6896?

Correct and the Europa has a more purple hue than Coral blue, just a touch lighter in colour overall. Had a Coral hardtop on my Europa for a small period of time.

Europa's an awesome colour really, looks great in any lighting. Vauxhall were spot on with it when they made it
