After accepting deposit on VX this week, I placed the deposit on its replacement today!

Indeed! No point having a super light car when I'm a lard arse and it rarely gets used due to circumstances. So a heavier car that can have a bit more use should be better.

It's less the weight (although that's showing some definite middle age spread) and more the bloated rear 2/3rd's of the car. You should just miss out this intermediate step and get the inevitable SELOC approved 911 if you want a lame attempt at rear seats. :lol:

I'm steering clear of this conversation, given I halve the power to weight ratio the second I get near the VX. :wacko:

If you are travelling up to drive the car home, I can recommend taking the A701 back down to the M74/M6. From Broughton down to Moffat is one of the best roads in the area.

Hmmm good point Gary! Hadn't thought about that :lol: Driving back is the easy bit, arranging a cost effective trip up is trickier.

I didn't have an extensive look over it (I was more interested in the blue one with forged wheels at the time), but nothing obvious seemed out of place - it def had 4 wheels for instance. And glass. And lights...
