Were they designed for the VX220? The different Elise models have different damper mount points and so have different rear damper heights.

There is a solution, it involves adding a longer eyelet on the suspension. The link was to provide open measurements (395 mm) which might help identifying what's right/wrong with your suspension.

No. They won't solve whatever your problem is as the rear mounts aren't replaceable on the VX. Nitron have produced a replacement part to increase the open length of the dampers, though I'm not sure that is the fix for yours as I've got the 395mm open length NTR's and even at stupidly low ride heights, the springs are not loose let alone at standard ride height.
Are you sure your dampers aren't for a K series engined Elise? Only Toyota engined S2 dampers are compatible with the VX.

But i have a problem, the riding height is rear 2,5cm higer the oem. When i lower it the springs are loose between the dempers. In front the car can be lower 1,2 mm then the oem riding height.
I think you have to tighten the spring to lower the car, not unwind. http://www.sector111...ning_Guide1.pdf
Look at your NTR40's on this car halfway the page http://www.speedster...t=6350&start=15

Ronnie was the original owner, who bought the nitrons new.
(before the car crashed, and went to Jim)

Contact Ron, as aks what spring rates his Nitrons came with.

Just read the last number on the springs for poundage...
(Anything above 500lbs (rear) with the correct longer damper length needs helper springs if you want to ride lowish.)
