Fitted polly inserts front & rear fitted left & right damping mounts fitted gearbox breather pipe with filter All ready for 16th may tack day

I'd like to see a few more axle stands in that picture. Pretty high risk trusting a jack like that.

I think the MG ones would be an upgrade these are the 3rd set of the cars had! LOL

I'd like to see a few more axle stands in that picture. Pretty high risk trusting a jack like that. 

 

Feck that, you think Im a crazy man getting under a car.

 

It had 3 axle stands, 2 either side cross bar & 1 under the wishbone mount and that middle jack was just used to support the engine (blocks of wood) while I changed the front & rear mounts.

 

With both front wheels jocked, should be perfectly safe

They are a struggle to see! As I found out the other day the car does like to topple if it's only jacked up by two jacks in the middle!

 

 

With both rear alloys removed it drops the weight to the front, the 3rd stand was to stop the weight coming back to the rear

I had the battery out the front on mine which I think was what made it so easy to tip, didn't fall, just tipped!
