Just wondered if anyone has tried using this on their roof, have used autoglymn product before and it was fine however not too cheap, fabsil will still be useful for water proofing the caravan awning too?

Yep - I've used it before and it's great stuff. You've just reminded me that I've still got loads in my parents' garage!

Hi , long time no hear .I was recommended to use Fabsil and have waterproofed my soft top with it yearly for the last three years. As above post states ; it works a treat. The instructions are straightforward.  Don't treat the roof in situ ( on the vx) , place it on some plastic sheeting on the floor.

I used some training shoe water repellant stuff on mine years back and water still beads on it well, it did a great job.

I used fabsil, didn't work at all for me.

I brought the stuff below, worked like magic lasted for about a year and half. Well recommended.
