I used to have them wheels on the MR2, how do they feel on the VX220?

Did you weigh them before tyres installation ?   Thanks

only weighed with tyres on, originals were Bridgestone, new is Goodyear. 17.4kg std vs. 18.3kg for the fronts. I guess most of the extra weight is the wider tyres with some extra tread. 21.3kg std vs. 21.5kg for the rears. just been out for a good drive, no real noticeable difference, a little heavier on the steering and no rubbing that I could tell. lock to lock on the front doesn't appear to cause any issues, but wasn't expecting any as the wider 195 Goodyear tyres have been put on std wheels by many people already.

Ah, just found this post. lol What is the stopping grip like?

They are the Fondmetal OEM wheels for the Lotus Europa SE, so not quite sure if they are the same that you had on the MR2. They feel fine on the car, some extra grip due to wider tyres than std.

They are probably different wheels but look the same. I had Wolfrace Turismo wheels with the polished face. As an experiment I fitted the rear wheels all round and it ruined the handling. The car tram lined a lot and the steering was far less reactive (sensitive). Sounds like 195mm at the front may be a good tyre size for the vx220.
