That's running OBD tuner IIRC. The packaging on the Astra will have certainly helped fit that massive bore manifold too.

Great stuff, it's good to see the S/C'ed kids keeping up :) Without reading all 59 pages in that thread, how did they make such a leap forward in power? Presumably good charge cooling was part of the equation?

the power comes from decent ignition timing , the fueling is target lambda ~0.85

interesting the 7200 rpm limit is back , I know the iTBs engines avoid it running standalone webcon

Bloody good numbers those, but must be a chuffing small pulley on there and well and truly out of it's efficiency zone once he's above cruising speeds. Will be interesting to see how he fares intake temp wise outside of isolated dyno runs though at least he's got the benefit of the charger and manifold being in some form of air flow, unlike us with it stuck in no mans land. Bet it screams like a banshee too.

is it one of the Neo-bros crate engines, ie. out the box 2.0l b207

for high rpm its got a much better stroke and conrod ratio

Any pulley smaller than a 2.9"you will have to machine the snout on the M62 charger.

I think it's pulleys smaller than 2.8". I can't stand the noise mine makes with a 2.9" on, so God knows how bad it is with even smaller pulleys.

Prob no where near as bad as he has a car made from metal and real sound deadening

So accounting for a rough power consumption of 10% for the SC unit, this engine / M62 is flowing ~370bhp.. Seems a lot..

8.9:1 lower cr more air and fuel in more power works better on a turbo but gains more at higher rpm on the charger
still on the 2.8 but will see what happens soon
ive got a vid of a pull now gave it some stick its now got a dump valve Posted Image not sure how but it pusshtts on gear change lol

2.2 with, supertech double valve springs, +1mm valves, a heavily ported cylinder head, zzp stage 2 cams, electric water pump, balancer chain removed and a decent 3" system  thumbsup

Plus LSJ coilpacks  ;)

He has spent many long hours to create his engine and the results speak for themselves  Imnotworthy
