Hi Nick,

Looks like some good bits and bobs there :)

Assuming that you're hoping to promote the sales as much as possible it might also be a good idea to post this within the Lotus section of the Pistonheads forums?

Wasn't blown away by the price to be honest. £495 for a hardtop + vat is still around £600 so not exactly a bargain?

For a brand new painted OEM hardtop..? That seems pretty good - how much are they normally?

Some of the brake setups and non-oem/harness hole seats would be very interesting if they fit the VX :)

Ross is right.  Second hand hardtops sell for £600 almost regardless of condition.  Thee are a relative bargain and I doubt will hang around for long.

Nice. I want an accelerator pedal that's wider at the bottom to help me heel and toe, though not fussed if it's alloy or carbon.

I've been selling them at £925 with no problem at all. We only stopped doing painting due to being too busy.

One of mine for £580 unpainted or a new one from the factory at £600? These are 1/2 retail cost what more can they do lol

Fecking glad they didnt break these feckers out 3 years ago!

You are of course all right, I was just being a cynical b£%tard. Surprising considering how much I'll spend on other VX bits really.

I have a price of £1475 for the unpainted roof from VauxhallWorldParts and £2602 for one painted in 2JU. At £600 brand new these are an absolute bargain. I may go and buy a "spare" :)

It is Graham and thank you for your time. Your response to the messages was above and beyond. Paypal all sorted. thumbsup

BTW, you might want to reset the stock availability on the Claypso red roofs on the motorsport auction site. There were 4 available when I started clicking

Having spoken to Graham, if you encounter an issue with Paypal whilst buying stating that the merchant doesn't accept GBP or something like that just use the contact form on the motorsport auctions website to drop Graham a message and he'll make sure you're sorted.

Shame there's no Europa hard tops left, if I need to wrap or paint there's little point me buying new.
