I can't see where this is supposed to be mounted. I have checked everywhere that is within range of the cable length but had no luck.

Yes Ivor it is a turbo. Despite the pics in the threads that DuncanVXR kindly provided the links for i still can't find it. My car just has a single fuse unlike the ones shown in the photos; i think that those are from an NA. I would really appreciate it if you could have a look when you have a spare moment Ivor. I am starting to think that whatever part it mounts to went missing during the rebuild that it went through after the shunt. I really need to see and photograph a completely standard car as there are other areas that i am not sure about. Thanks to all for your help.

I'll take a look today, what amp is that fuse? I think, but I'll check, it mounts next to the relays on the pax side ( bonnet)

Thanks very much Ivor. I don't have a smart phone but your information is enough for me to get around the problem. I just wanted to be sure that i wasn't missing anything obvious before i started fabricating a bracket.

After looking around again because the cable from this fuse was just way to short to reach over to the wiper motor side i finally removed the brake fluid reservoir and could see two holes drilled into the metal stay on the drivers side that the fuse bracket attaches to. It is the mirror image of location in the photos that Duncan VXR posted and Ivor described but well hidden and inaccessible unless you remove the reservoir. The other side as mentioned by the other posters has the same arrangement but with two fuses on the bracket.
