Posted before about this but I'm looking for an A1/concourse condition 2.2 VX

Must be low mileage, stock or revertable easily to stock,  not used in the wet, history would be good but a barn find would be ideal. Anything considered but must be in completely pristine condition.

Not looking in my capacity as a dealer this is for myself and willing to pay the full retail market price for the right car. I have been searching for the owner of LY01 this is the actual car I would like if its been pampered since leaving Vauxhall.

All other good VX220's always welcome for stock for the business but for this particular search I'm really trying to find the single best remaining car. Only a 2.2 for me Ive had several epic turbos this year but has to be the 2.2 for me!

A1 concourse condition will be a tricky find after 13 years I think, maybe there are 1 or 2 still out there. Did you get my PM please Jon?

if you're in the 'offer they can't refuse' thinking, might be worth tracking down my dad's Mandarin one.

I have left contact details with Vauxhall before to pass onto the owner of LY001 but not heard anything. Any contact details Fez?

Jon - just as a matter of interest: Why are you after the perfect 2.2 and not the perfect tubby?

Is this purely as a potential investment? If so, why not (say) a 2003/4 M5 or the like?

Dont like Turbos basically. I've sold 3 comlpetely perfect tubbies this year but I dont get on with them myself.

Limited investment opportunity its just purely because I love the 2.2 standard car.

We did a project back in 2004ish at a company I used to work for to demonstrate a diesel sports car, two or three silver vx's were used (and ruined by putting a diesel in) and only did some development work on rolls and road, then has just been used for dispay. I know one of them is still at the company but not sure if they'd be interested in selling. Can find out more if you like?
