I'm surprised you weren't tempted to mount the inner toe link joint on the wishbone.

At first glance that sounds like a good idea but I'm pretty certain it will just murder the rear wishbone bush. I think a redesigned wishbone with a much larger rear bush with the toe link built into the wishbone would be better solution.

Would be bump steer be influenced more or less with the different mounting positions? Or is bump not a real issue on the rear? Great work and nice idea on enlarging the bush for toe link ( might have to copy that idea) :-)

Yes, IMO bump steer is an issue with the rear wheels if you fiddle about with ride height or change the relative angle of the tie to to the lower wishbone. My car is lowered some 30mm and suffers from this issue, I can feel it quite often. Remember if you change the angle of the tie rod to wishbone you are also interfering with roll angles (only really an issue with softly/moderately sprung car IMO).

I hadn't considered the load on the bush.  You could use one of those nice Nitron rose joints which should do better under the load but then you'd introduce some harshness.

I've made a throttle pedal to suit the vw throttle body. Pedal pivots on a roller bearing.

Here's Als air con solution, a roof vent that will pick air up out of the roof scoop on the coupe conversion.

It utilises the standard louvres out of his spare dash top, for a nice OEM look.

Nice work! The only potential issue with the roof vent design is that they are pretty weak vents, so you may find they open themselves at speed.. And how water-tight will they be..?

Just an observation. :)
