Had a few of these made up to prevent water ingress. £24.99 delivered if bought directly (PM me) or see link for listing AND PHOTOS. A really good design & decent, none marking quality. Should last the lifetime of the car. Custom fit rubber cover, ideal for keeping out the rain which enters through the open vents in the boot. - Soft, none marking high quality rubber - Cold, heat and crack-resilient rubber - Easy to clean, fully washable - Easy to roll up & store in the boot - Weighty enough to stay securely in place in windier conditions without being heavy and cumbersome - folds up easily and compactly and can be stored behind the passenger seat - Designed to fit the curves of the VX220 boot perfectly Please state whether you require one for a VX220 2.0 TURBO (WITH SPOILER) OR 2.2 NA (WITHOUT SPOILER) as the turbo one has a curved lip which tucks underneath the OEM spoiler, the NA one has a straight edge This rubber cover keeps the entire engine bay and boot area covered. This is essential for keeping the coil pack and injectors dry as even with the VXL water ingress cover fitted on later turbo models, any heavier rain can cause issues over time - Also perfect for keeping water out of the boot area, where it is prone to going if you're parked uphill or on a sloped driveway Quote MultiQuote

Do you have anymore of these? I just went to get one on ebay and they've sold out. Bad timing on my part!

Hi A-Game, how have these coped with the really heavy wind lately, do you know?

Unfortunately looking like the car might be outside more often than I wanted and would love something a bit better than a black bag over the engine solution.

Vegy these are pretty heavy so don't think wind would impact it at all. I have had one for circa a year for when I travel to tracks and never had an issue. Bloody snowed last time!

Hi Vegy Heavy enough to withstand strong wind as per GeorgeRalph's comment. When fitted they ensure all rainwater runs safely into the boots side channels rather than under the grill area. Not had any issue with moisture in my plugs since using
