Afternoon Everyone,

Well, as expected the bill is creeping up beyond where i thought it would be on the car. So much so that i need to look at parts i was keeping back to fit later to raise some extra funds.

I bought one of the original Coupe Rears and Roof bundles from Nelly a couple of years back. Not content with bolting it on i decided i wanted to hinge it so set about making my own version with some Exige hinges.

Numerous pictures here of all the work i put into it, i think in total i spent around £1200 on the parts to get it to where it is now.

I have :

Cut down rear coupe section, top 2 vents filled to fit hinges

Scooped roof

JonnyBoy inner skin kit

Seal kit for the roof

Adhesive to join the 2 parts of the roof together

I think i also have some Aero catches too....will have to check

It all fits together, however, it needs some fettling on the rear section where the hinges join as there is a slight misalignment, i fixed it on using Washers but was going to make some blocks from Alu as a permanent solution.

Having no experience in this at all, i gave it a whirl but needs must and having the car on the road is more important right now. A bodyshop may be worth investing in to finish 100% whist getting it sprayed!

I'm looking for £900 for the lot. Postage will be really difficult so will need to sort out collection / meeting up.

Thanks

GJ

Afternoon All,

6 months into fatherhood and it seems i am going to struggle to getting round to fitting this.....maybe in about 18 years!!!

I've dropped the price for kit including the hinges to £850 (i think the new sets are just over £800 without the hinges obvioulsy, or the inner skin)

Please let me know if you are interested.

Cheers
