Wow Castle Combe is lethal in the wet! Managed not to crash but had one very hairy moment going into the last corner (Camp)

There's been some nasty ones there as well as the infamous Quarry.

Video of the day (camera is crap)

All my scary moments were in the first session where I forgot to film... then I took more care at Camp afterwards.

Need to do a Walshy day as I'm nervous of doing mad skids in the VX, I tend to keep it as neat as possible.

It's a very tricky track when wet. But, I still think you were a little too cautious through the twisty bits.

As you said, a walshy day may give you the confidence to push on & handle the car when the car starts moving around. Probably worth the money. In the dry, the track is far less intimidating.

I've only had the car up to 1/4 turn opposite lock I think I just need to have a few spins on a safe airfield!

The safest circuit for getting to grips with your car is probably Bedford. I wouldn't bother with an airfield. Dry or better still wet, as everything happens at a much more manageable pace & there's no silly cones everywhere.
