Now I know it's strange me asking for car clearing tips but... :)

Cars been sitting since outside since last year and we've had some heavy rain in London of late.

So looks like water has leaked in over time and sat under the matts which has caused corrosion looking stuff on the floor.

What's the best method for cleaning this stuff off? Assume ACF50 for keeping it away?

Also, what else did people do for cleaning grime and crap everywhere?

Is it possible to take the box bit at the end of the center console under the dash? (have a feeling it's riveted)

also found out why it was missing on 1 cylinder as well...

The Magic sponge works great. Most. Of the large super markets sell them. If the floors are corrded you may have to use the Pora paint system. Look on Seloc there is quite a lot of details on Eliese floors being treated.

yeah sponge worked fine on the sides of the tub, didn't try it on the floor as didn't think it'd work.

Will give it a go tomorrow

http://wiki.seloc.or...twell_Corrosion you really have to remove all the corrosion and only then you can paint it. When you've removed all the corrosion, if you get a lot of holes you can glue aluminium panels over the floor. They're bought directly from lotus.

I had two of my lug full of water after a night of thunderstorms. I thought it was an issue with the map and proceeded to drive to Matt B and back on two cylinders.
