Hope you enjoy it David. Just out of interest, what good will it do you receiving this info now, it may only be verbal & then can you trust the info? I'd be surprised if there is actually any hard copies that won't have been passed with the car through it's passage? Or am I just being naive?

Can't help on the owner front, but you can check the mot history for a kick off https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-status

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping to find out where it's been serviced so I can get confirmation from the dealer...

Can't help with the history but I would question the wisdom of posting under your full name and leaving your mobile number, location and registration number openly on the Internet...

What history do you have with the car? Was it a cat # car? Start to build your own history, keep every receipt spent on it It's a car.. do the basic normal 2nd hand car checks.. The above link is handy to confirm mileage And maybe any advisors Also add build number

if you look up the build number (last 4 digits of the VIN), then do a search on here with that number, you might find some info in the previous owner?

Two months later and it's up for sale through Lancashire Car Sales.  OP is from Lancashire.

Late plate and with only 10,000 miles.  Could be another one for Jonnyboy?

Seems like Mr Stockton is a dealer:

Wonder if he ever tracked down the history?

That makes sense now... Why he wanted the history after acquiring the car.
