So to recap FLD isn't making one, siobe1 isn't making one and the only splitters avalible are an original dempert or an eltech?
..........or buy a Pikes Peak Suzuki and use the splitter off of that

if its anything like the eltech seats then there will be clearcoat on it.Do you know if the eltech sticker is just on top (so can come off) or burried under the clearcoat?Actually, it's a bit different but similar setup.

I do a different one but it's not as prominent as the dempert

I'll do those as I have the mould ready to go but it's not a prominent one like the dempert or robin splitter.

This is a picture at Combe going fast-ish and you can see it pulling away in the middle. It now has more fasteners holding it on. Originally I only put a few on around the edge but this showed it working a bit too well. I say working, probably working hard to rip the bottom of the car off but little else.

Just to add, I thought when Thorney developed their aero they found that the front already a lot of downforce compared to the back, so any decent splitter needs to be balanced with rear aero / wing etc?

The great splitter debate, again. There is demand for 10 or so.
I put my name on the list for the robin and for FLD's Dempert style one. I can understand FLD needing more numbers to make and design moulds cost effective.
robin I pm'd you asking for a one off even, seeing as you already have the moulds.
I'd pay £300 for a robin, delivered, up front Perhaps a better guage of interest is those who are willing to pay up front i.e are you prepared to make them to order and if so at what cost ?

Eltech has emailed me with prices...

The eltech one looks very good. Is it protruding enough out of the front to contribute with a lot of downforce?

Mine's still going good FLD, is it 12 mths yet?Yeah, I made my own mould. It's a very tight mould hence its tired. Thought I might do one with grip base rather than sheet alloy. Just not enough interest to justify the effort. Not really interested in selling the moulds. How do you! Did you make the mould? Thinking of having a good at making one as not really getting anywhere trying to buy one :-( Did you make it out of MDF? Would you want rid of the mould?

Does anyone know if you can still purchase a Dempert and if so from where ??
Looked all over everywhere but the dark web and can't see anything

But to hear people sulking on here because they absolutely 100% definitely need a splitter and can't get one this instant, you'd think cost isn't a problem. It's German, it's (probably) over engineered in the grand scheme of things and it costs as a result. But there's just an assumption that a clone made over here will be much cheaper.Of course it's down to price, don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that.
If you want a cheaper alternative that is theoretically available now, try the Eltech clone in GRP or even CF. Or maybe even see if Mastersammy will move on the price of his.
No, my other genuine one has the alloy plate that you bolt through into the original front undertray fixing pointsIs a genuine one a pita to fit then?
The other one I've got (in the earlier picture) doesn't have the section that you'd normally bolt through as it was specifically made without to act like more of a gap filler between a pikey plywood splitter and the clam, I guess.
Any chance of something like this becoming available to buy again?
