Best Sill Protectors?

Getting my sills repaired tomorrow as cracked so thinking of putting some sort of metal sill protector on after its done. can you buy these ready made for the car or you have to get cut to shape your self? has any one use the chequer plate stuff does it fit ok or look crappy ?

cheers these ok for £50 are they metal you know? just to give it a bit of strength.

These are metal but offer no protection, they are decorative only. The reason I say that is because they are tiny.

yes cheers ive just looked into them they look lost on the sill, like you say just for looks.i might have some cut then I think.

yes they look spot on and 2mm thick too so should strengthen it too, where you get these from you know?

Well I made mine out of approx. 2mm thick carbon and just double sided taped them to the sills. It really does strengthen the sills because it spreads the load over a greater area Posted Image

I've got some laser cut sill protectors made out of 2mm brushed stainless then clear lacquered to stop them scratching 

 

they cover almost all the sill, can post up some pickys if you want to see them.

 

they are a little on the heavy side but offer a lot of protection

 

I do can do you a pair for £75 posted if you want some.

my previous sills were stuck on with silicone sealant so I stuck these back on with the same! but if your sills are clean double sided tape would probably do it! 

 

Paypal is good with me but bare in mind it will take about two weeks to get these to you!!
