Hi, I've had my standard VXT for two years and I've been lurking here for a while.

I'm going to fit a Thinkware F750 Dual Cam this weekend and I need some wire hiding advice.

Due to how the cam works, it needs to go high up behind the rear view mirror for the front cam.

I've already asked on the FB page about how to hide two cables and I was advised to run each cable, one each side of the screen.

Has anyone here done this before and do you have any pics?

Thanks in advance. Marin

Plenty of room to push a wire into the gap between the glass and surround. I've done just that with mine and you wouldn't even know it's there. Secured it in place every 30 centimetres or so with a blob of black milliput to stop it falling out.

Thanks for the pic! Looks like I'm going to be busy Saturday. I've also noticed my rear view mirror is a bit loose. Ive got some loctite rear view mirror glue.

It's Garaged. You also don't know where I live and believe me, the sticker works. I've had a dash cam since 2005

Its more for the road rage idiots in London. When they start jumping up and down, I point to the notice and smile. It's surprising how quick the stop and cover their face.

You've not seen the road rage film of a guy, I'm assuming in London because of his accent? In a Pug estate having a go with a cyclist! The Pug driver got more wound up when it was pointed out he was being filmed to the point he gave chase on foot until he did a head plant!😂

I'm sure theres loads of stuff online to support your point of view. I've been using a camera for ten years with no retaliation. I suppose it all depends on how you go about things. For me it has stopped things getting worse, proved two accidents (minor) were not my fault and worked in my favour when a security guard dropped a barrier on my bonnet and lied.

Better hope they don't approach from the side of the car, drag you out and beat you to death then.

Makes me laugh when you are getting bent out of shape over a sticker when there are loads of you sticking ironing boards on the rear of your cars, and modding them until the only original part is the dash badge! I can take my sticker off in seconds.

Sugru was what I had handy and was easy to apply. Not too good with a tube of silicon. Its a very good camera system.

I've only been here 5 mins and because I have a sticker on my car, my car is going to get broken into and my head caved in. Great news and all I wanted to hear! Only thing is, I have had a dash cam and warning sticker for 10 years and neither has happened. I did post my cam install to share how good it is, but that got lost in a load of irrelevant rubbish.
