Hi, My exhaust exit pipes at the rear have vxr etched on them,was this an add on extra from vauxhall when purchased ? And what's differant about it ?, I assume bore size, and is it just the back box ? Many thanks

The VXR come standard with the Miltek exhaust (2.5")

the miltek exhaust was an option on the vxr. the ones officially supplied had a vxr etched on them. apart from that no difference to the standard miltek exhaust. i got rid of mine as it was too quiet for my liking.

Na milteks tend to have Vxr etched on them aswell

They all had vxr... Until Vauxhall told miltek off for copyright. Hence they then just used their own logo. So hence vxr branded ones are early ones.

There was no such thing as an officially supplied Miltek, the dealer had to get them from some place :D in Milton Keynes who couldn't decide what price to supply them for...

The early systems were branded Milltek until Vauxhall launched the VXR branding, they were then branded VXR at the request of someone  :rolleyes: in Milton Keynes until Vauxhall told them to stop using the VXR logo.

 

As 2GOOD said they were never an official Vauxhall part.
