Okkkkkkk, so I want to change the dash light switches cos .....they look sh!t basically. yes, yes I know, you only look at them once or twice per journey etc etc, but personally I think they look like they are from a crappy smart car and dont wanna look at their ugly faces anymore. So I'm appealing to an electrical genius to give me an idiot guide to working this wiring out.
IE....What does each colour wire correspond to? Lets just pretend you are explaining this to a 5year old....that would be perfect thanks :-)))

Here are the pics of each relay..........

Rear fogs Red/green - black = lights switch when sidelights on. Red/blue - grey = when button pressed connects fuse 1 to relay k5 Red/yellow = a feed returning from relay k5 to light the second bulb in the switch.

Should be able to use those. Anything is possible with electricary magic. Looking through the diagrams has reminded me I need to just print them all out.

Yes it's possible and I have used those very switches. Only slight ball ache is the hazards as you could do with an extra normally closed pin to do a straight swap but it's still workable.

Originally I wanted to use these In my car but the wiring was way too complex.

So went for these instead and very happy with them.

Jonny/Chris, a menu price for replacing the switch panel and switches, fully fitted would be of interest :D
