With all the recent hoo haa about HCB's I'll ask podge if we can get some on a group buy.  These will be Lotus parts not other 10.9's from anywhere else given they are coming from a lotus dealer.  I'll get a price over the next couple of weeks but if you're interested make a list and I'll see what can be done on price.

Why get them from Lotus? Surely Lotus just buy them in from a bolt supplier?

For reference JG did them for £12, so anything too much more than that wouldn't make sense.

There may be issues with where the shoulder is on the bolt so unless you can match them exactly I'd stick with genuine ones.  That said Podge can do them somewhere between 11 and 16 quid (inc UK delivery and vat) depending on numbers so they aren't going to break the bank.

Could i just get the fronts? I don't need the rear as I'm having to get longer ones. Unless the tears are the same size as the fronts I may as well get a 1 full set to make 2 front kits.

Just for curiosity...Elise-Shop sells a 10.9 bolt kit for 10.59 euro incl VAT which I bought. What's the deal with the bolt shoulders? I assume that if they sell a kit, then the bolts have the correct design, no?

I would hope they are correct.  There was a debate some years ago about the unthreaded section of the bolts and how the shoulder of that part could be important.  I can't remember what it bottomed out on.  I would expect elise shop to have got it right, it's your choice who you spend your money with at the end of the day.

ETA: here's a pic shamelessly ripped off from the for sale thread that shows the unthreaded sections.
