So I've some issues with connection.

I keep getting a software not compatible issue, even though I have downloaded the latest version from the website.

It comes up as connected on the little indicator on the bottom right hand side when the program is open, but there is obviously no data displayed on the main screen (not sure if there's supposed to be..).

I've also been getting a misfire under load at about 3-4k rpm at about 50% throttle, and as of yesterday a consistant misfire at idle, and obviously its difficult to diagnose without access to the software.

Does the engine have to be running to access the ECU, or just at the ignition on position?

Thanks

Check you've put the correct license key in. A wrong out no key will still connect but not do anything else

As bargi said go to the general tab and check the license key and press the test button When you press the test button the software creates a read only file which saves the key and baud rates

From experience it can be a issue the first time you use a laptop tablet but once it's working it's fine

There is a section in instructions about setting within laptop To match the settings Also check All the wires are still attached on the car side of the obd port As if one ( white ) comes out lose it can pass the test but not send data

I'm in.

It was the licience key as noted about - I typed it in a few times, but then ended up accessing my email and copy / pasting it in, which worked - I think its space sensitive...

Just need to check my misfire.. I was thinking of installing a set of Z20LET Injectors now that I can change the settings - anyone know if this will have a detrimental effect given I'm on the base map? Obviously I'm not going to calibrate the thing with these (too small) but as an initial check it would be good..

Might be a good idea to put it straight in to learn mode If you plan on doing any type of reving driving But don't go mad As I assume you have a BIG spec as your using 630cc

I've got a set zlet injectors in the garage. Not been used for a few years. Done less than 30k miles

Yeah Peter suggested to do a log of it running and send it on.

Nothing particularly big - aiming for just under ~300bhp, but will see what I get.

Cheers Martin. I've got a set of those which I've just stuck in, but I'm getting the same mis-fire issue, so feck knows what the issue is.. Hopefully some analysis of logs will indicate what it is..
