Hi , Looking at a new clutches for a st2 s/c, mainly fast road at the moment but with an eye on future proofing in case of an increase in power /track use ,CMS seem to more than double in cost between fast road and competition kits and the LUK website lists the n/a and turbo as the same part numbers with a heavy duty kit for a Vectra B different again. Any input on your clutch experiences will be welcome Thanks in advance 😀

I fitted a LUK C20LET (Calibra Turbo) clutch and it feels the same as standard, as so far (only 300 od miles) has been totally fine on SC..

Cost about £130 for the disc / cover. The CS one is effectively just this clutch, but marked up.

I took delivery of the CS one today and it is a LUK cover plate. The slave cylinder is a Sachs one.

Got one on my stage 2 turbo and I'm very impressed. Can't see how a CMS one can be £500 more expensive to be honest, I don't believe the hype.

Mine had a new standard clutch in when the charger went in. It took 700 miles + to bed in (new flywheel as well), and I have only ever had clutch slip once since... caused by a bad gear change when accelerating hard from the lights. I wanted an uprated one, but had a lot of advice saying not to bother. So far I think that's turned out to be the right decision. I have 260BHP+
