Latest with the VX...

Fitted some Olhins for the last event which transformed the car. Conditions were getting very slippy as the day went on so nailing any sort of consistent setup that worked was difficult but the day went well and I managed to finished 5th after a slight off!

Plan is to upgrade the gearbox/clutch and diff in the winter rebuild along with a list as long as my arm of little jobs needing sorting.

Back in the shed now and its engine out time....again!

Its been a while since my last confession!

Running stage 3.5 now thanks to a host of goodies from Courtenay,

Mapping showed up issues with our roof mounted intercooler so a larger one has been fitted behind the engine. Air fed to it by a homemade boot lid which is a bit commercial looking but works. (we will make a fiberglass roof/scoop/bonnet over the winter.

Won on its last day out and now leading the championship....alot done, more to do!

Why not water intercooler? Shorter intake, And temperatures go down about 20 degrees.

Looks like you need another foot of droop on the wishbones for a smooth landing!
