There is one thing usually missing on these products and that is turn- and full beam indicators. If fitting a nice dash like these I wouldn't want to add these indicators to be road legal...

Like I said on Luke's DASH2 thread, life would be so much easier if we had CAN on these cars.

But it's not real CAN if it's just translating OBD into a CAN protocol. The ECU isn't, none of the sensors are, the loom isn't and the speed/bandwidth/ease benefits of CAN are neutered by the abortion that is the Z22SE ECU and it's archaic OBD protocol (even without the bug with the saturated bandwidth).

Yup, I guess it's at least a 20 year old setup now. I'm toying with buying on of these and adding all of the extra sensors I want into it and talking CAN direct to the datalogger and any replacement/extra display. Just need them to actually reply and tell me that I don't need to buy $450 worth of software to configure the device, which itself is only $295.

Might finally give me a use for my Deutsch terminal tool.

Race technology is very good and can do multiple ways of inputting data (can or serial), there customer service is excellent as well. I have the dash2 pro in mine.
