Can't knock the effort and finish, but I think I would need to see it in the flesh... for some reason I just don't seem to gel with the rear quarters, I thought a smoothed flared arch would be an improvement. But to me it just looks too heavy.

It needs the arch to follow the wheel shape like the front not cut across the wheel. But the arch would have to be a different shape for this to work which isn't going to happen now. See Nevs wide arch clam for a comparison. Still 100% better than before good job. Looking again just raising the rear ride hight may improve the appearance as at the moment it looks a little like the suspension has collapsed and it is resting on the wheels. I think the ATS DTC rear wheels look better with a raised ride hight.

After a bit of closer inspection may looks nicer with a  rear wheel spat similar to the OEM one to cover the wheels/tyres a little. (Just my thought's though) You've done an amazing job on this VX!

To me it looks like he's actually went out of the way to incorporate the coverage that the wheel spat previously covered in to the body to get rid of it altogether, looks much nicer imo :)

I know exactly wot u mean and I like the idea, some kid of arch splat would cover tyre a little more and would also keep the oem sort of look I want to keep even tho the car is very ott, will have to get my thinking head on and try work out best way to do it, standard ones won't fit and they are plastic so hard to modify to fit. Ummm, thank you for the idea

I may try raising the back up alittle, also front has some 5mm spacers on so may take them off also In an ideal perfect world I would change wheels for something more suitable and prob go slightly skinnier, prob 9.5 inch and thinner rubber, then the wheels would not be so closer to edge of the arch.

Great job, you've really put some time and effort into getting that back up to scratch in quick time. Think it looks great.

Agree with the comments above, those rear wheels are just too cumbersome for the body. Swap them out for a better option and it'll look ten times better.

Well done on the quick transformation.
