Can anyone recommend anywhere for the above in the Poole/Bournemouth/Dorset area? Also, for those that have had wrapping done, what would be the rough cost for getting the front V, windscreen surround, mirrors & side intakes done? (carbon wrap) Thanks

21st Century tints down on the Nuffield in Poole. Wrapped my hardtop and can do whole cars, though I suspect your looking at a fair chunk of money.

And look forward to removing the wrap and finding potholes in your clams.

Definitely worth having a read of GFWilliams thread and MrLamberts as they really think well of vinyl wrapping cars.

If its a proper job with all the shuts done and done by someone who knows what they're doing with no uneccessary cuts and joins you can expect to pay around £1200 to £1400 for a full wrap

Wowzers, that's roughly enough to get it masked up and sprayed in real paint.

If you want a sh*t paint job it is and a sh*t wrap can be had for less

Can't speak for the car but the windscreen surround is easier than I could have imagined. I'd imagine the wing mirrors will be easy? Sharp craft knives a decent hair drier of heat gun what you need!

Just be sure not to touch the body, as your paint will most certain come off with it lol

Dont get me wrong i prefer a good painted finish ,but my car was wrapped when i bought it ( was done by previous owner years before ), and when i removed the wrap it didn't do damage to the paint like people suggest. I think it depends on the quality of the wrap used, mine was Hexis , but if you used ebay tat then i expect it would pull the paint off.

Correction, depends on if you clam is full of bubbles which 95% of vx220 do.

21st century tints wouldn't touch the windscreen surround due to it being a rubberised finish. Might just do it myself in black vinyl as doesn't appear anyone has had issues with it sticking properly

Probably misread the thread topic as wanting a whole car done!  If you only want those little bits then do them yourself, plastidip is a good alternative to wrapping and is really simple and un-fck-up-able.
