Decided to check my plugs for water ingress. One was a little damp so I decided to use some servisol dielectric grease when refitting. I had a spare coil pack to experiment with so read up a little about it on the loutus/ford forums then smeared it on the ceramic part of the plug, a little inside the boot end (but not directly on the contacts) and more liberally around the outer/top of boot shafts to try and create a water-repellent barrier to ingress.
What are people's experiences of using this and thoughts? Took it for a blast and all seems well. Cheers

Sensible approach IMO. You can do the same for all the plug sockets/connectors around the engine bay and help keep the gremlins away.

Great. Thx. So it sounds like I've applied it to the correct areas? My mine priority was to keep water out of the coil pack/chambers so I've put plenty near the top of the 4 outer boots where they sit in the holes to try & create a barrier to stop moisture getting in and down the chambers
